🛡️ A Quick Note on Recent Headlines
You may have seen recent press about cartel activity in parts of Mexico. The coverage has been dramatically overblown when it comes to Puerto Vallarta — particularly the tourist zones where we'll be (Zona Romántica, the Malecón, the beach clubs, the marina).
These areas are heavily policed, walkable, and consistently rank among the safest tourist destinations in the country. We've spent weeks here over the years and have never once felt unsafe. Use normal city common sense — stay in well-lit, active areas at night, keep an eye on your stuff — and you'll have a beautiful, easy time.

Transport from the airport is arranged for the mothers, sisters, and the birthday boy. No need to book a taxi or rideshare — you're covered.
When you land: clear customs first (everyone must), then head to baggage claim. It's all one open area, so we'll be able to spot each other even at different carousels.
We all land within minutes of each other. Timothy and Adam go through the residents line and may clear customs and reach baggage first — look for them there.
Once everyone's together at baggage claim, we head to the arranged transport as a group.

Playa Amapas
12 min walk | 1.1 km south
A quieter cove just beyond Los Muertos Pier—clear water, soft sand, and relaxed energy. A favorite for couples escaping the crowds.
Playa Conchas Chinas
7 min drive | 2 km south
Tucked-away coves, tide pools, and emerald waters framed by rock formations. Ideal for snorkeling or a quiet afternoon swim.
